Leadership Conference

One of the ways which we look after our members’ welfare, as well as instilling patriotism in them, is by holding a Leadership Conference annually. We invite speakers from various backgrounds and with different specialties to reach out and talk to our participants in the Conference, inspiring them to better themselves and realize their potential. Our members benefit from the exposure given by the speakers, as well as gaining an opportunity to network with other participants from all over UK. In doing so, we portray the strengths of Malaysian leaders, and how they are on equal footing with their foregin counterparts, and that we should be thankful to have them as our leaders, and proud as a Malaysian.

Festival of Diversity

We promote our rich and diverse Malaysian culture to the local community through our Festival of Diversity. The Festival is a night of performance, put together by our members to show the audience the Malaysian culture through a musical play. It is an event not to be missed for both our members and the audience. It allows our members to develop their interest in performing arts regardless of their background. In doing so they develop a bond with each and every person in the crew. When all is done, they will be looking back at a wonderful memory created while being apart of a big family who strived and work hard to make it an unforgettable night.

The audience will get a taste of what Malaysian culture is like through the Festival by learning bits and pieces of our national language woven into the performance. The audience will be treated to Malaysian music and dances, as well as gaining knowledge of our customs and traditions as they indulge themselves in the play.

Cardiff European Games

Not to forget our Cardiff European Games, where MSSCF bring together Malaysian students from all over Europe and UK to compete in various sports and games. MSSCF strives to become the melting pot for Malaysian in Europe and build a connection to link them together.

Penan Campaign

MSSCF also plays a part in supporting a cause to save the Penan tribe in Sarawak. MSSCF is working alongside Survival International to rally support against logging companies threatening the Penan’s habitat in the forest by way of deforestation.
